VERSATILE SYSTEM OF RGB COLOR-CHANGING STICKS

Elation Professional, Los Angeles, CA, is offering lighting installers and designers a “Magic stick” that will create virtually any color of light whenever it’s needed – as a stunning rainbow effect. The company’s TP-60 Octostrip is a versatile system of LED color-changing sticks that works equally well mounted on a trussing or tucked away in recessed areas of buildings where “hidden” cove-type lighting is required.

Manufactured by Alkalite and distributed in North America exclusively by Elation and sold as a complete lighting system, it consists of eight LED sticks plus a proprietary PD-80 controller.

Each stick features 180 high-intensity red, green and blue light emitting diodes. At the flick of a controller switch, the LEDs can be combined to create thousands of rich, vibrant hues through RGB color mixing.

The LEDs used on the Octostrip sticks are the new surface-mount style, which produce a wider beam angle and smoother field of light. This makes the system capable of creating extremely smooth, evenly distributed color over the most spacious areas, with no shadows or tonal variations.

ULTRA-THIN BACKLIT GRAPHIC DISPLAYS

Clearr Corp., Minneapolis, MN, presents the Luminaire Ultra® III ultra-thin backlit graphic displays. The narrow profile of 1-5/8" (41mm) minimizes fixture awareness allowing the viewer to focus on the graphic message. Luminaire Ultra III's frame flips open on all four sides for easy graphic and service access. The Cold-cathode fluorescent lamps have a life expectancy of up to nine years without lamp changes in a typical retail environment.

Light distribution is extraordinarily even, through an innovative method of edgelighting an internal, precision-etched acrylic panel.
Luminaire Ultra III is available in eight standard sizes with custom sizes available, as well as a wide variety of colors and finishes.

PORTABILITY WITH ILLUMINATED
LARGE FORMAT GRAPHIC

Aisle Advertising, Minneapolis, MN, has design-ed and patented a portable leads station and table top display that is lightweight, easy to transport and fast to set up and take down.

In less than 15 seconds, Aisle-lite expands from 9" to 26" deep x 34" wide x 36" high. When used as a leads station, Aisle-lite looks delicate and attractive yet can hold objects as heavy as 120 lbs. What makes the unit unique is the 31" x 30" clip in a back-light graphic system.

Multiple graphics can be carried to the site and held within the front clip system and kept safe within the unit during transport. Upon arrival at the site, an individual graphic is selected, they quickly clipped into the front of the unit. The only additional time required is to plug it in.

What makes Aisle-lite unique is that by only opening the unit half way it can be easily placed on a 6' table and used simply as a table top display. When used in the table top position, the doors become graphic "wings" offering up to 80" of horizontal graphic display surface.
