Contract Guarantees
An ad contract year is any 12-month period including the issue in which an
advertiser’s first ad appears. Any written request for ad frequency
rates received by the magazine will constitute a contract and will protect
the contracted advertiser against any rate increase that may occur during
the contract year. Conversely, non-contract advertisers will be charged ad
rates current at the time of advertising. When ad frequencies as set forth
in a contract are not met, the advertiser will be short-rated.

Positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of the publisher except
where a request for a specific preferred position is acknowledged by publisher

its agency. Cancellations or changes in orders must be in writing and may not
